In the spirit of rivalry, the students collected canned goods for their favorite team just before the big game between Ohio State and Michigan. The team with the most canned goods gained bragging rights. Many cans were collected and the Parent Teacher Organization donated enough turkeys to go with the canned goods that over twenty Bennett Families were the recipients of food baskets.

Our students collected funds to help the national Smile Train effort to help children with cleft palate problems receive surgery.

Bennett Venture Academy has a partnership with the local YMCA of Toledo. In conjunction with the Red Cross of Northwest Ohio, our families and friends donated enough to help over 100 people who needed blood.

Bennett Venture Academy partners with Mayfair Church. Mayfair volunteers come to school on a weekly basis to work with students as a support for our reading program.

Bennett Venture also has a partnership with the University of Toledo. The school receives math tutors on a weekly basis to help bolster our math program.
