"I currently teach sixth grade at Bennett Venture Academy. Our school offers parents and their children a safe and caring environment that focuses on the four pillars of success: Academic Excellence, Moral Focus, Parental Involvement and Student Responsibility.

As a teacher at Bennett Venture, I have been given numerous opportunities to develop and strengthen my skills not only as a classroom teacher but also as a leader in the school building. Throughout the two years I have been employed at Bennett Venture Academy, I have been a part of challenging each child to achieve on a daily basis. I have watched children who were once withdrawn and academically behind their peers flourish and succeed at Bennett Venture. I have had numerous conversations with parents who are thrilled with the progress their child is making, and who have shared with me on several occasions their love for our school.

The academics here at Bennett Venture are tailored to fit the needs of each individual student, challenging each student to achieve success at their level. All lesson plans are standards based and created with every student in the classroom in mind. Not only is the curriculum exemplary at Bennett Venture, the school also provides the students with a Moral Focus education. The importance of virtues such as respect, perseverance and compassion just to name a few, are modeled and integrated into our school day."
